About the Internship

We’re seeking a Data Analytics Intern to optimize our BI reporting environment. You’ll help restructure redundant joins in Sigma workbooks into reusable data model documents, improving our data infrastructure and reporting efficiency.

Internship Timeline & Responsibilities

• Weeks 1–3:
• Onboard and learn our data stack
• Get familiar with our databases
• Tackle smaller ad-hoc data requests
• Begin handling Sigma workbook optimizations
• Weeks 4–10+:
• Identify and resolve data integrity issues
• Assist with larger reporting requests
• Contribute to minor updates in dbt models
• Recommend enhancements to our Sigma reporting structure

You’ll maintain this level of ownership and responsibility throughout the internship.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools
• Understanding of relational databases
• Solid SQL skills and familiarity with data visualization tools
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Sigma Computing or similar BI platforms
• Exposure to data modeling or analytics engineering using dbt
• Located in Orange County, Los Angeles, or the West Coast (for training and timezone alignment)
