Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Data Scientist with 3+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning and a passion for applying algorithms at scale. Experience in computer vision and natural language processing (NLP) is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy machine learning models, including offline batch models, real-time online models, and edge compute models
• Analyze complex datasets to extract actionable insights that influence business decisions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business challenges through data-driven solutions
• Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders effectively

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist
• Expertise in Python and SQL programming languages
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques
• Practical knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Computer Vision (CV) concepts and algorithms
• Proven experience implementing and deploying machine learning models
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with big data processing frameworks like PySpark
• Knowledge of deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch)

Technical Skills:

• Programming Languages: Python (required), SQL (required), Java (basic knowledge preferred)
• Machine Learning: Solid foundation in traditional ML algorithms, with practical knowledge in NLP and Computer Vision
• Big Data: Expertise in PySpark
• Data Storage/ML Tools: Familiarity with databases, MLflow, and related tools
• Mathematics: Strong background in statistics, linear algebra, and probability theory
• Version Control: Git

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication skills to facilitate effective interaction with stakeholders
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Self-driven and capable of working both independently and within teams
