Job Description

Oxa Foundry is a suite of tools that combines generative AI, digital twins, and simulation to accelerate machine learning and testing of self-driving technology before and during real-world use. Tools within Oxa Foundry are also unlocking new opportunities to launch innovative solutions for industries such as commercial fleet insurance and risk management. Leveraging Oxa’s experience in deploying AVs and establishing capabilities to safely scale (by identifying, quantifying, and managing route risk with limited or no pre-existing data), we help organizations in those markets augment and generate new data to develop transformative fleet risk management solutions for their customers.

Your Team

Your team will ensure the company has the right data, at the right time, from the right sources to sustain rapid improvement across all its tools. It will oversee data ownership across our fleet and customers, utilizing data synthesis and expansion, simulation, automatic annotation, and logging where appropriate.

Your Role

  • Developing state-of-the-art pipelines for deployment domain analysis, route feasibility checks, domain clustering, classification, representation learning, and data coverage analysis.
  • Conducting research with foundational models for data generation and understanding.
  • Managing data interpretation, governance, validation findings, and dashboard creation for metrics tracking.
  • Contributing to the development of data tools that support and scale system testing and commercial requirements.
  • Ensuring data availability across our technology platform, development processes, and customer deployments.
  • Collaborating with teams to create specialist tooling and processes supporting company-wide data initiatives.
  • Keeping up with advancements in computer vision and tracking research and applying relevant techniques to Oxa MetaDriver.
  • Contributing to team backlogs, stand-ups, and meetings.

Requirements

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Experience with Machine Learning in a research environment.
  • Proficiency in Python software development.
  • Experience working with LLMs, VLMs, and other large-scale models.
  • Solid software engineering principles and knowledge of Python best practices.
  • Ability to balance technical and commercial requirements.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis, dataset validation, and introspection.

Extra Kudos If You Have:

  • Experience benchmarking and validating synthetic data.
  • Machine Learning expertise in data amplification and synthesis.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience in computer vision and robotics, including object detection, tracking, and localization.
  • Background in the insurance sector.
  • Experience with MLOps.
  • Familiarity with autonomous driving software, simulators, or traffic modeling.
  • Proficiency in C or C++.
