Goodyear Tyres – Data Science Internship (Luxembourg)

Goodyear Tyres is offering an exciting 6-month Data Science Internship in Luxembourg. To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled in a university.

The Opportunity

Join our multicultural data science team, working on AI-driven projects related to tire performance prediction, intelligent tire solutions, and business operations. Your primary focus will be contextualizing driving behavior using geospatial data, map features, and other sources to establish mission profiles across large vehicle fleets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a literature review on the latest research.
• Benchmark various models using different datasets.
• Develop, train, and validate a machine learning model to define driving mission profiles.
• Present project updates in team meetings.
• Document findings and transfer knowledge to a full-time team member.

Requirements

Education

• Enrolled in the final year of a Master’s degree in Data Science or Mathematics.

Languages

• Fluent in English (mandatory).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Strong understanding of Data Science principles, statistics, and applied mathematics.
• Experience with data science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas).
• Familiarity with Git, Linux, and High-Performance Computing (a plus).

Soft Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in a diverse team, share ideas, and contribute to innovative solutions.
