Tax Intern – Global Legal Business Services | Summer 2026

KPMG is seeking interns to join our Business Tax Services practice for Summer 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legal business services, work with cutting-edge technologies, and collaborate with top tax professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in strategy, process, and technology optimization projects for legal departments and law firms.
• Track project milestones and contribute to timely deliverables.
• Provide recommendations on integrating technology and improving processes.
• Analyze metrics, performance measurements, and policy recommendations.
• Support the implementation of legal technologies, including Generative AI, Workflow Automation, Enterprise Legal Management, Contract Lifecycle Management, and eBilling.
• Develop expertise in key tax-enabling technologies such as AI, Alteryx, and Power BI.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business, Accounting, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Pre-Law, Public Policy, or Statistics.
• Must have additional academic credits to complete after the internship.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Coursework or experience in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and AI-driven tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
