Data Science Intern

Location: Atlanta, GA | Job ID: R25008801 | Employee Type: Seasonal

UPS is seeking a Data Science Intern to enhance customer experience through data-driven insights. This role involves analyzing large datasets, leveraging Generative AI and machine learning models to improve call summary categorization. Interns will work on projects aligned with their strengths and interests.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer service data to identify trends and insights.
  • Develop and apply ML models for operational efficiency.
  • Present findings to GBS operations and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing/completed a degree in Data Science, Engineering, CS, or related fields (min. 2 years of coursework).
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python (GCP preferred).
  • Must be in or willing to relocate to the job location.
