Job Description

We are seeking an experienced data scientist specialising in optimisation to design, develop, and deploy advanced solutions for supply chain decision-making. This role requires deep expertise in optimisation and AI, with a strong track record of solving complex industry challenges.

As a data scientist, you will lead the development of optimisation-based solutions to enhance strategic, tactical, and operational decisions in supply chain management. You will collaborate closely with business teams, and ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.

You will work closely with business partners, data scientists, and engineers to optimise workflows and translate complex business challenges into mathematical models and actionable solution, and manage stakeholder expectations while delivering impactful solutions.

Minimum Qualifications

• MSc in Artificial Intelligence, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience applying AI and optimisation techniques to solve complex industry problems.
• Expertise in constraint programming, linear programming, mixed-integer programming, heuristics, and meta-heuristics.
• Proficiency with solver libraries such as CP solvers, Gurobi and CPLEX
• Experience leading optimisation projects from ideation to deployment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with optimising supply chain and logistics systems, including transportation, inventory, and network design.
• Familiarity with simulation techniques and integrating optimisation with machine learning models.
• Passion for research, innovation, and real-world optimisation with business impact.
• Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to knowledge-sharing across teams.
