Job Description

In this position you will be working and collaborating with both junior and senior ML engineers/researchers, and product engineers, in a cross functional settings. You core responsibilities will be on research, development, implementation, and testing, of algorithms, methods, and systems for ML based personalization, representation and memory, diagnostics, and reasoning that are integral part of Apple products and services.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the ML fundamentals including mathematics, architectures, representation and reasoning, generation/diffusion processes, and diagnostics
• Strong Computer Science algorithmic and theory knowledge.
• 3 Years experience on training, evaluating, and characterizing ML models and systems
• 3 Years of experience in at least one domain of application for ML: NLP, Computer Vision, reinforcement learning. An understanding of the applications, challenges, and opportunities in these domains.
• Strong programming skills
• Good communication skills
• Master of Science/engineering in CS, ECE, Statistics, or equivalent industrial experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with developing/shipping at least on ML based product or service
• Excellent communication skills
• PhD in CS, ECE, Statistics, or equivalent industrial experience
• Proven skills in formulating projects and collaborating in cross-functional settings

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $197,400 and $296,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
