Job Description

We're seeking a passionate and driven Quality Engineer to play a critical role in guaranteeing the excellence of our image generation software and models. You will:

• Champion Quality: Develop comprehensive image quality evaluation plans, meticulously report and triage bugs, and proactively identify areas for automation.

• Collaborate Closely: Work closely with development engineers, multi-functional teams, and project management to ensure seamless integration and prevent regressions.

• Drive Innovation: Contribute to the development of new testing methodologies and tools to meet the unique challenges of generative AI.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors' degree in computer science or related field. Two years of related professional experience can substitute for the education requirement.
• 3 years experience in a Software QA Engineer role

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to develop test plans, test cases, assess risk, and file clear and concise bug reports.
• Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to triage issues, prioritize effectively, and propose solutions.
• Extensive experience with UI/UX testing and front-end software applications (Mobile/Games/Media/Content/Consumer Electronics).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience testing Image/Video software applications.
• Expertise in subjective evaluation of images/videos.
• Programming skills (e.g., Python, SwiftUI).
• Experience developing automated software tests.
• Familiarity with image processing and computer vision concepts.
• Experience working with tools and automation frameworks.

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $107,100 and $222,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
