Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, enthusiastic Technical Delivery Manager. You will report to our Vice President, Field Technology APAC and you will drive alignment across programs, initiatives, resources, and timelines.

The Technical Delivery Manager excels in communication, possesses strong technical skills, and demonstrates exceptional project management and organizational abilities. In collaboration with clients, you will oversee the entire customer journey from onboarding to growth. You will lead interactions with clients and coordinate across multiple internal and external teams, including customer data scientists, Kaggle Grandmasters, platform engineers, system integrators (SIs), and support teams to overcome challenges and expedite clients' progress to ensure renewal and expansion.

You will help clients implement our AI products and platforms, ensuring both business benefits and successful technical delivery. Your success will be measured through product adoption, platform stability, client usage, retention, and expansion.

This position is based in Singapore.

What You Will Do

  • Stakeholder and System Integrator Management: Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including system integrators, customer technical and business teams, and internal H2O.ai teams to align efforts, manage expectations, and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • End-to-End Project Management: Manage AI and platform installation projects from planning to execution, including overseeing platform delivery, technical integration, and system setups. Work with platform engineers and system integrators to ensure platform deployment meets technical and customer-specific requirements.
  • Technical and Platform Expertise: Provide guidance to customers and system integrators regarding best practices in platform installations, ensuring smooth operation of AI models, data pipelines, and production environments.
  • Business Acumen: Serve as the primary representative for H2O.ai to customer stakeholders, ensuring both the technical and business value of H2O.ai’s platforms and solutions are effectively communicated and adopted. Build and maintain strategic relationships with system integrators and other key partners.
  • Customer-Centric Focus: Monitor customer satisfaction, manage escalations, and ensure timely resolution of issues related to platform performance, installation, and AI solution adoption. Collaborate with system integrators and platform engineers to address technical challenges and meet customer needs.
  • Platform Delivery: Oversee the delivery and installation of AI platforms in client environments, coordinating closely with platform engineers and system integrators to manage timelines, technical requirements, and customer expectations. Ensure platform deployment aligns with the overall delivery plan and customer goals.
  • Evangelism and Strategic Leadership: Lead pre-sales efforts for high-impact projects, particularly around platform deployments. Establish governance structures and manage KPIs related to platform stability, usage, and performance.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience Managing Project Deliveries: Proven experience in managing the delivery of technical platforms, including coordinating with platform engineers, system integrators, and customer technical teams to ensure smooth deployment.
  • Stakeholder and SI Engagement: Extensive experience managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, including C-suite executives, system integrators, and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Comprehensive Project Management Skills: Strong experience managing both AI/data science projects and platform delivery projects, ensuring successful execution from planning through installation and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage complex relationships and ensure alignment across various teams.
  • Dependable, proactive, and capable of managing workloads independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly around platform performance and stability.
  • Conversational knowledge of Data Science concepts, machine learning techniques, and their practical applications.
  • Understanding of program management principles and proficiency with productivity and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with AI, analytics, and related technologies, with an emphasis on platform installation and model deployment.
  • 5+ years of industry experience
