Job Description

As a Machine Learning Engineer you will have the opportunity to work with all the line of business to enable the mass creation of impossible Apple products that people know and love on this planet. • Collaborate with business teams to analyze key business problems and develop innovative ML solutions
• Develop and deploy machine learning models for image processing tasks such as image classification, object detection, segmentation, and anomaly detection etc.
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and deployment on on-premise platforms or edge devices
• Create pipelines for data labeling, training, validation, and testing
• Monitor model performance and iteratively improve accuracy and robustness
• Stay updated with the latest trends, research papers, and tools in image-based machine learning

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in applying machine learning technologies to solve real-world business problems, including 3+ years focusing on image-based AI solutions
• Demonstrated experience in requirement analysis, can transform business problems into ML solutions very well, can communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders clearly
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with libraries/frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, scikit-image, YOLO etc.
• Hands-on experience in building and deploying machine learning models for image-based tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor or above in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with manufacturing defect inspection and its SOTA solutions
• Experience with video analytics and motion detection models
• Experience in edge computing for image-based AI solutions
