Job Description

What is the opportunity?

A fantastic opening to join as an Associate working within the Investment Banking Business Management team, you will play a key role in supporting GIB with queries and report creation as well as production and maintenance of management Information.

What will you do?

• Critical analysis, review and forward thinking are key to business management
• Attention to detail and timely delivery of weekly, monthly or quarterly reporting
• Support in the creation of the weekly pipeline report
• Support in the annual planning process
• Business continuity management & operational resilience
• Data and information management including presentations
• Ensure the department complies with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business

Must-have

• Candidates should have knowledge of financial services
• Worked in a deadline focused environment before
• Potential post graduate qualification e.g. ACA, CIMA, ACCA
• An understanding of the Investment Banking business and its products
• Highly self-motivated with a willingness to learn
• Requirement to work and effectively collaborate as part of a Global team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact and maintain relationships with staff at all levels within Investment Banking (Analyst to Business Head)
• Strong work ethic, ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining attention to detail & accuracy
• Ability to review, assess and improve internal processes and drive operational efficiencies.
• Team player
• Knowledge of Investment Banking operations, products and markets
• Advanced computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

 Nice to Have

• Some knowledge of AI systems
