Job Description

WSP is currently initiating a search for a Project Manager-Digital Solutions to support our Digital Solutions group. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely. Be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. Working with a wide range of internal and external clients in various industries, the Project Manager will solve complex requirements, lead technical project teams, and develop designs for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Software solutions. The Project Manager will identify new opportunities, develop proposals, implement software solutions, and represent WSP Digital Solutions at external events, amongst other activities, to ensure that we provide quality solutions to meet our clients' EHS Software needs.

Your Impact

• Interact with customers using a variety of means to obtain technical details required for configuration
• Interpret customer compliance requirements and business processes in sufficient detail to develop technical specifications for configuration
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving existing business processes
• Assist in scheduling unit testing of EHS software to verify configuration per design specifications
• Assist in scheduling end to end system testing with support as needed
• Assign resources to develop reports, dashboards and other visualization assets using commercially available software packages and tools
• Demonstrate software configuration and base functionality to customers in informal and formal settings
• Assist in the development of integration specifications and testing
• Deliver and develop training, technical documentation and training materials for customer and/or project team use
• Assign resources to develop test scripts and support customers through UAT
• Assign resources to develop legacy data mapping
• Assisting in managing schedule of team in support of data migration and cleansing activities
• Resourcing projects, identifying scope, schedule and budget with adherence to WSP standards.
• Support customer account team during post deployment and rollout activities
• Demonstrate knowledge of WSP business and market sectors, overseeing the completion of professional deliverables on projects, marketing efforts, and business development proposals.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• At least seven (7) years’ experience working with an information software platform and/or one or more of the following subject areas: environmental permitting and compliance, occupational health and industrial hygiene, safety incident management, sustainability, and resiliency, and/or quality management or risk management (operational or enterprise).
• Past experience directing and supporting remote and global teams, including mentoring and training staff.
• Analytical mindset with an ability to exercise sound judgement in evaluating situations, applying logic, making decisions, and providing objectivity.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, and effectively articulating complex data in a simple, actionable manner.
• Demonstrated high level of self-leadership with attention to detail, accuracy, results orientation, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to junior team or project members, with strict adherence to QA/QC.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
• Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with a science, technology, engineering, or mathematics background.
• Certifications related to Data Science, Information Management, Business Management, Project Management
• Bilingual (English and additional language)
