Job Description

The Leidos Decision Advantage Business Area is looking for an AI/ML lead to develop, deliver, and operate trusted and explainable solutions.

Position Summary

In this role, the candidate will drive the delivery of these AI-driven capabilities – for efficiency, better decision-making, and extension of human agency – across the most impactful, data-centric missions we perform for our customers. Provides leadership in building a portfolio of offerings and capabilities to address current and emerging AI/ML solutions. The candidate will ensure Leidos differentiation of scale, security and speed feature prominently in positioning of our major capabilities. The successful candidate will work hand-in-hand with business development, capture management, line management, research and development, and other subject matter experts to develop optimal and differentiated Leidos solutions to be delivered in proposals, on programs, or on research and development projects.

Required qualifications

• Masters with 15 – 20 years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13 – 16 years of prior relevant experience. Additional years experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
• Technical credentials in various subfields relevant to AI (e.g., Data Science, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, Computer Science).
• Proficiency in a broad range of AI techniques and applications, including Data Science, Analytics, Autonomy/Autonomous Systems, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning, and Generative AI/LLMs.
• Ability to architect solutions using a broad range of technologies and disciplines including (but not limited to) Data Science, Analytics, Autonomy/Autonomous Systems, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, NLP, and Generative AI/LLMs.
• Understanding of the importance of ML Ops and Data Ops as well as their relationship to broader DevSecOps concepts and processes.
• Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility

Pay Range:

Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
