KBR’s Defense Systems Engineering, Naval Solutions Division is looking to add a motivated and skilled Data Scientist (2 years of experience) to join our team supporting NAVAIR’s Precision Strike Weapons Program Office (PMA-201). KBR plays a pivotal role in the research, development, acquisition, and sustainment of the Navy's air-to-ground precision-guided weapons systems. Our team comprises a multi-disciplinary group of experts responsible for the total life-cycle management of the Department of the Navy's precision strike weapons capabilities. With the largest NAVAIR Foreign Military Sales portfolio, PMA-201 collaborates with KBR and 39 coalition partners, ensuring our precision strike systems' readiness and technological superiority.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing algorithms to process maintenance work order data, focusing on machine learning, neural networks, and natural language processing. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative solutions in maintenance management while working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
