Overview

Machine learning plays a central role in the success of Susquehanna's systematic trading desk. In today’s hypercompetitive markets, faster and smarter models can mean the difference between success and failure.

As a machine learning researcher joining our team you will be working with traders, quantitative researchers and technologists to develop and enhance our state of the art machine learning techniques. We’ve got heaps of high resolution market data for you to chew on using our high performance clusters. Our mission is to develop and apply machine learning tools to forecast milliseconds into the future.

What You’ll Do

  • Collaborate with other researchers, developers, and traders to improve existing strategies.
  • Conduct research and development applying new algorithms designed for large-scale deployment.
  • Use your machine learning skills to find signals in one of the highest quality data sets in the industry.

What we’re looking for

  • Post-graduate degree in machine learning or a related discipline with publications at top tier conferences, or professional experience proposing novel machine learning algorithms.
  • 4+ years experience in building and applying machine learning techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and drawing conclusions from large datasets.
  • Proficient programming skills in Python and/or C++.
