Overview

Susquehanna International Group is looking for an AI - Database Administrator to join our Corporate Systems AI team in our Bala Cynwyd headquarters.

On our Corporate Systems AI team, you’ll develop, customize, and integrate opportunities where AI can enhance operational efficiencies for in-house and third-party applications utilized across teams including trading, operations, back office, and investment businesses. You’ll have the opportunity to lead the integration of cutting-edge generative AI technologies. Our end-users are our partners and by joining us, you’ll engage with them directly to enhance the functionality and usability of application suites that are instrumental to Susquehanna’s success.

In this role, you will:

• Help design and support new databases to meet business requirements into the future.
• Perform storage maintenance and updates, keeping up to standards and staying current with the latest technology available to enhance AI capabilities
• Partner with developers to troubleshoot and scale services
• Stay abreast of developments in fields of AI and machine learning.
• Collaborate with your team members and end-users, early, directly, and often to evolve the technical landscape real-time as business needs change.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or its foreign equivalent
• 4+ years of experience as a database administrator
• Experience with AI Technologies including Vector and Graph databases
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
• Experience in cloud services like Azure, AWS, GCP
• Scripting experience (Python, Perl, Bash)
• SQL knowledge (preferred)
