Who You Are
As a data engineer, you take ownership of Sila data storage systems, ensuring the consistency, durability, availability, and performance of our on-premise and cloud-hosted databases.
You will be working with incoming data streams from sensors and time-series equipment, as well as small and large batch processes, to serve data to internal stakeholders such as application developers, technology development teams, and battery teams.
You will be responsible for building scalable data integration technologies, working closely with software engineers, data scientists, and database management team to create a next-generation data infrastructure that supports user queries, dashboards, applications, and data analysis.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions
The starting base pay for this role is between $170,000 and $215,000 at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Sila’s competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, equity, and bonuses. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
