Job Description

Individual will work as a Senior Big data Developer with Capital Risk Measurement Team, delivering services to implement technical and business needs, and working closely with various partners across IT and business. We are looking for a curios full stack developer/leads with a passion for problem solving and have proven track records of successful deliveries building complex systems.

What Will You Do?

• You will have hands on experience in designing and developing complex data intensive systems using cloud & Big data technologies.

• Accountable for all phases of the development process – analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation in agile development lifecycles.

• Proactively seek out knowledge about new technologies and how they can be used to solve current and foreseeable challenges.

What Do You Need To Succeed?

 Must have

• Extensive experience in working with Big Data Technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Java & Scala) and ETL development competencies.

• Solid understanding of the Big Data architecture and the ability to troubleshoot development / Performance issues on Hadoop (Cloudera preferably)

• Experience and knowledge with Java, J2EE, Spring / REST / Microservices, Linux and NoSQL/SQL databases.

• Experience with DevOps , CD/CI tools- Jenkins, GitHub, Automated Testing tools, or similar tools

• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and functional programming

Nice-to-have:

• Prior work Experience in Capital/Regulatory Market or related industry

• Strong data analysis skills and the ability to slice and dice the data as needed for business reporting.

• Good Team player who can work with onsite/Offshore models and deadline oriented.

• The candidate is expected to be dynamic, flexible, and energetic, as this is a demanding and rapidly changing environment.

• Ability to work independently given general guidance.
