Position Description:
Calico's Genomics Technology Lab is looking for a highly motivated Functional Genomics Scientist to join our group. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background and is excited to work in a highly collaborative environment to design and apply functional genomics assays to read out interpretable phenotypes underlying the complexities of aging and age-related diseases. This role requires proficiency in designing and executing large-scale perturbation screens and generating multimodal genomics datasets. The position provides the opportunity to be an integral part of a cross-functional team that includes Research, Discovery Technologies, Data Science, and Machine Learning to spearhead these innovative studies. The position is ideal for someone who is highly adaptable and interested in utilizing novel technologies to answer a complex and diverse set of biological questions.

The estimated base salary range for this role is $127,000 - $135,000. Actual pay will be based on a number of factors including experience and qualifications. This position is also eligible for two annual cash bonuses.
