This role has the unique opportunity to provide analysis and insight across both Small Commercial and Middle Market Commercial. Through 'floating' across both markets, the selected individual will develop breadth in knowledge across both business units.
In this role, you'll be challenged to solve a diverse array of emerging business problems, which can span product, underwriting, business development, services, pricing and much more.
Strongly preferred qualifications include:
- Commercial lines business and data experience
- Extensive ability to code and analyze data in SAS
- Ability to proactively interface and problem solve alongside key Small Commercial business partners.
- Deep knowledge of statistical analysis.
This position can be filled at the Sr Analyst, Bus Insights level depending on the skills and qualifications of the selected candidate.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Manager/Director and does not have direct reports.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information, business, mathematics or related field with post-graduate studies preferred.
Experience: Six or more years of related experience with data visualization tools and problem solving; working with large customer and/or prospect databases; working with product, geographic, demographic data to create understandable and relevant measures. Professional experience in insurance, financial services or a related industry preferred.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: In-depth knowledge of business policies and procedures, customer service concepts and practices. In-depth understanding of and working knowledge to build and maintain ad hoc and standard reports, including data visualization and business intelligence tools. Strong communication skills to interact with others. Ability to understand business processes and the data produced by them. Understanding of functional and operational measurement needs, analyze data requests and interpret business problems into solutions. Ability to work under tight time constraints. Capable of developing distinctive and understandable data visualizations.
