Job Description

• You will conduct research and develop innovative machine learning strategies for complex problems that will impact future Apple products.

• You will collaborate with multi-functional teams at Apple to transfer artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.

• You will have opportunities to get technical mentorship and guidance, and prepare technical reports for publication and conference presentations.

Minimum Qualifications

PhD or Master’s degree or equivalent experience, in Machine Learning, Human-Computer Interaction, Natural Language Processing, Robotics, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields.

In-depth expertise in one or more of the following areas:

• Fundamentals of Machine Learning, including but not limited to Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Unsupervised & Self-Supervised Learning, AutoML, Few-Shot Learning, etc.
• Speech and Natural Language Processing, including but not limited to: Speech Recognition, Text to Speech, Conversational and Multi-modal Interactions, Machine Translation, Knowledge Graph, Information Retrieval, Computational Linguistics, etc.
• Strong publication record demonstrating innovative research.
• Proven programming skills in Python, C/C++, CUDA, or other GPGPU
• Familiarity with Tensorflow or Pytorch
• Excellent presentation skills
