Job Description

What are we looking for?

• Must have - Degree level in human resources, mathematical subject

• Nice to have – post-graduate qualifications in statistics, computer science, data science, Operations Research etc.

• Good analytical, problem solving, critical and lateral thinking skills

• Worked on other advanced Analytical techniques

• Knowledge and experience of machine learning modeling techniques and packages

• Strong analytical skills with interest in business dynamics.

• The position requires good interpersonal and communication skills along with an ability to translate advanced analytical findings to business actions.

• The individual should be a team player and have a strong ability to influence peers and business partners to take actions necessary to achieve goals.

• Independent and innovative thinking is desired.

• Good working knowledge of statistical software is a must.

• Ability to represent the company at various levels with the client

• Ability and willingness to work at different client locations

• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment with a tolerant attitude

• Solution Development: To work with the existing team around building Solution capability and expertise around different areas of analytics.

• Delivery: Use analytics expertise to understand client needs and work hands-on the development of Scorecards/ Models, analysis etc.

• Implementation: Manage the process of implementation/ deployment of score/model/analysis built. Monitor performance of scorecards as and when required.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Leading Analytics and Data Science in the P&O (HR function) space all of areas of CoE’s at Mars in alignment and connection with global leadership

• Deliver potent insights and data science that deliver our purpose and unlock new value and benefits across our business.

• Create a strategy, roadmap and budget/costs for analytics and data science that you manage and deliver with the team

• Connect with Data teams to drive data priorities, and solution performance.

• Connect with Translator teams to drive adoption priorities, and solution performance.

• Connect with broader analytics communities to drive best practices and community cohesion

• Work with a team of Data Engineers and Data Scientists and be responsible for the overall solution design, development, and deployment.

• The job requires bringing technical expertise and understanding in analytics, data science and insight to bear in the market. This will demand rapid learning about the data we have, the business needs/challenges and applying expertise in analytics, data science, leadership, and delivery to turn this into an output that has actionable and valuable outcomes for the business.

• The role will partner with other senior leaders in the P&O teams to co-create the strategy and priorities and deliver them

• The role will be hands-on to help deliver work directly and to lead projects working across markets

• The team is very new, small, and nimble. Being self-starting and self-sufficient while also communicating and collaborating effectively within the team and beyond is key
