The Role: Analyst - Predictive Analytics

Grade: 10

Location: Islamabad, PK

Shift: Evening and Night

The Team: The Commercial Predictive Analytics team is responsible for producing forward-looking actionable insights using data science and machine learning to support the Commercial operating strategy.

The Impact: Help ensure that the deep insights generated through advanced analytics translate into impact for the Commercial organization and SPGMI.

Responsibilities:

  • Help identify, collect, and prepare the data needed to produce the most useful insights.
  • Utilize working knowledge of AI and analytics to convey business goals to the data science teams who will create the models and solutions.
  • Utilize working knowledge of AI and analytics to build solutions using Salesforce’s Einstein Analytics (EA) platform.
  • Work with data scientists and machine learning engineers to develop analytic solutions to the prioritized opportunities, coordinate the formulation and articulation of the value proposition.
  • Ensure the solution solves the business problems in the most efficient and understandable form for users and produces actionable insights that the business can interpret and execute on.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of insights and solutions, and own the resolution of design issues and risk
  • Lead trials and pilots with end users to test design and capture feedback to improve and iterate models/output
  • Communicate the benefits of these solution/ insights to business users to drive adoption
  • Manage medium to large scale projects with stakeholders in various functions across various roles
  • Champion data quality to ensure high quality outputs. Perform quality assurance checks/ audit and partner with a QA expert on the data science team to ensure and optimize accuracy
  • Collaborate with Client Analytics and CRM Operations teams on a recurring basis to understand changes in processes e.g. ACV calculation, referrals, new sale crediting etc.

Basic Qualifications or Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree. Specialization in Business, Computer or Data Science, or related field is preferred.
  • Fundamental understanding of machine learning and advanced statistical models and analytics
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a reporting and/or analytics role
  • 1-2 years’ experience in project management or similar role
  • Familiarity working with Salesforce’s Einstein Analytics (EA) platform, including creating datasets and dataflows and visualizing output via a dashboard
  • Fundamental understanding of Python and/or R programming languages
  • Fundamental understanding of database platforms/SQL
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Tableau Software
  • Experience working with the Agile methodology
  • Proven track record of delivering results, with specific projects (and business impact) as examples
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop productive relationships with business partners and other teams across the org
  • Strong communication skills to capture and convey project requirements, and explain analytical solutions [and benefits] to end users in easy, understandable format
  • Understanding of commercial business, org structure, and goals
