What you need to have:

Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus one

(1) year of experience in the position offered, as a Software Engineer, Data Analyst, or a related position. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master’s degree experience. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the position offered, as a Software Engineer, Data Analyst, or a related position. Must have one (1) year (or three [3] years with a Bachelor’s) of experience with all of the following: Programming in Python, R, Java or .Net for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis; Implementing scalable web dynpro and EJB applications using the SAP Netweaver Portal to help analyze insurance data, monitor performance and build a reliable information management system; Designing high-quality database solutions in PostgreSQL and MS SQL by writing SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, joins, and subqueries; Designing and implementing data pipelines, continuously expanding them through extraction, transformation, and loading activities using SQL and Microsoft Excel; Creating Excel templates with advanced functions (including Pivot table, VLOOKUP, Charts, Analysis, Power view, Formulas, VBA & Macros) for large datasets, enabling the identification of key trends and patterns; Developing reports, visualizations, and presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate strategic findings and presenting recommendations to key stakeholders for informed business decisions; Generating data models and visualization dashboards using knowledge of business principles, insurance accounting standards and insurance capital model frameworks. Travel requirement: 10% domestic and international travel is required to various and unanticipated company and client sites.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $114,300 - $155,400 per year.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
