Job Description

The Corporate Special Investigations Unit has global responsibility for MetLife's Anti-Fraud Program. Primary global functional responsibilities include internal fraud investigations, development and oversight of fraud awareness and prevention training and reporting of fraud information to internal and external stakeholders, including industry regulators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and identify potential fraud trends and schemes through data analysis and data-mining.
• Supports SIU staff by generating ad-hoc data reports. Extract and convert data from various data sources to specifications as needed.
• Assists and provide data reports according to specifications in response to requests for information from internal sources.
• Maintain the SIU case tracking and allegation databases. 
• Assist senior SIU personnel in developing high profile investigations through data collection and interpretation, transaction testing, and communications with appropriate individuals.

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of data mining techniques to support internal investigations and data driven reviews.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel and Access, VBA programming a plus.
• Experience with tools such as; SQL, Python, HTML
• Experience with data visualization / business intelligence tools (including, but not limited to; ACL, Qlik, Microsoft Power BI, DOMO, Alteryx).
• Ability to explain technical solutions to technical and non-technical teams.
• Track record of seizing opportunities and driving results.
• At least seven years of experience in the areas of proactive fraud detection, risk management, testing and monitoring, and management reporting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to establish credibility, create partnerships, and build relationships at all levels. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver effective presentations to all audiences.
