About the Role

As a Senior ML Engineer II, Deployments Ops at Cruise LLC, you will have the unique opportunity to work on the world's most advanced self-driving vehicles. Your work will be instrumental in safely connecting people to the places, things, and experiences they care about. We are seeking a highly skilled engineer with a passion for machine learning and a proven track record of successfully optimizing inference for ML models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize machine learning optimization and inference systems for ML models that drive self-driving vehicles
• Collaborate with Autonomy, Performance systems, ML infrastructure teams
• Design and implement tools and algorithms for ML optimization and runtime systems
• Perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure flawless system performance
• Continuously improve and optimize inference models and algorithms

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience considered.
• Strong experience in machine learning and ML acceleration
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PyTorch, Tensorflow, C++
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The salary range for this position is $139,400 - $205,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, long-term incentives, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
