Job Description

Responsibilities:

As the Geospatial Data Scientist, you will help derive and visualize new geospatial insights using the customer’s datasets found in the geospatial visualization application. Technical tasks include the following:

 Qualifications:

  • Experience working with visualization software packages such as Tableau.
  • Experience with SQL queries and visualization of large datasets.
  • Experience with geospatial software packages such as ArcGIS, ArcPro, QGIS.
  • Experience with PostGIS/PostGRES or willingness to learn.
  • Experience using Python.
  • Experience with Data Science methodologies.
  • Experience with Python notebooks

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 10-15 pounds at times.
