WHAT YOU'LL DO

As part of the Digital product organization of BCG you will pioneer boundaries in technology and innovation. You will play a pivotal role in harnessing the power of data, analytics and data science to drive strategic decisions, fostering innovation, and providing powerful insights to steer the company towards success. Positioned at the heart of our global operations, you will be part of a dynamic team in the pursuit of analytical excellence, turning complex data into actionable insights that shape BCG’s future.

As a Global Data Scientist Senior Manager at BCG, you will play a crucial role in leading digital innovation and building analytical solutions and products that empower BCG leadership to make strategic, data-driven decisions. This role will be hosted in AI Center of Excellence and individual will be embedded within the Global Business Intelligence & Analytics team, you will collaborate closely with product owners and stakeholders to creatively solve BCG’s most challenging problems, bringing to life business-critical analytics at scale. The ideal candidate will have outstanding hands-on experience, exceptional collaborative spirit, excellent leadership and communication skills, a detail-oriented and can-do mindset, and robust understanding of business matters.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

• Develop and oversee data science projects, from ideation to deployment, ensuring they deliver impactful insights
• Own end-to-end design, development & deployment of machine learning solutions at scale to deliver high-quality outcomes
• Share expertise and perspectives on alternate approaches & tools to improve end solution
• Collaborate closely with data engineers, product owners and analysts to create and operationalize data pipelines, ensuring compliance with data governance and security requirements
• Partner with data analysts to produce dashboards and reports that translate data into actionable business decisions
• Mentor and guide junior data scientists/analysts on the project to deliver desired outcomes
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and successful integration of data-driven insights into business strategies

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• 7-10+ years of relevant hands-on experience in owning & building data science solutions within a dynamic analytics or AI environment
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a track record of innovative solutions to complex data science challenges
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data science applications
• Proven ability to work with large datasets and deploy AI/ML solutions through automated data pipelines
• Strong technical expertise in Statistics & Machine Learning e.g. time series techniques, boosted trees, neural networks, clustering techniques
• Experience in applying MLOps principles to deploy, monitor and enhance AI/ML models
• Experience with variety of Python libraries e.g. Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow
• Experience in deploying solutions on a cloud platform – AWS (preferred), Azure, GCP
• Expertise in container technologies – Docker, Kubernetes
• Proficiency with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow to design, schedule and monitor data processing pipelines
• Experience on any visualization tool – Tableau (preferred), PowerBI, Spotfire
