Job Description

You will interface with existing platform products, as well as ideate on new features to drive engagement. You possess a strong understanding of the technical operation of internal CMS and documentation tools, with attention to detail and time-management to balance multiple priorities in a team-oriented environment.

We are a fast-paced team looking for a candidate who is passionate about live sports & entertainment trends as it relates to television and streaming services.

What You Will Do

• Lead the planning and scheduling of 8+ curated sports collection pages including sourcing artwork, quality controlling & trouble shooting, to deliver a compelling sports content experience.
• Create & maintain the annual sports calendar of key seasonal and tentpole events to build campaigns around.
• Identify topical events & optimal promotional placements that will grow platform engagement metrics of active devices, clicks, and hours.
• Serve as the primary liaison with Product & Engineering teams to inform enhancement requirements for algorithm and machine learning automations.
• Set up campaigns within multiple planning & CMS tools, working cross-functionally with Product, QA, and Marketing teams.
• Monitor & report editorial campaign performance for cross-team visibility via Airtable scheduling calendars, Spring Serve, and Tableau dashboard analytics.
• Anticipate and proactively adjust programming schedules alongside incoming sponsorships, partner marketing, and product marketing campaigns to deliver a balanced sports experience.
• Track and pull complex platform data to summarize into clear and actionable insights for key stakeholders.
• Monitor analytics dashboards to report/optimize editorial impression allocation for sports content and to make data-driven scheduling decisions and suggestions to teams.

About You

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years developing and executing live sports programming schedules and/or promotional placements.
• Demonstrated experience delivering measurable goals & outcomes, driving platform engagement metrics.
• Self-motivated, highly organized and have exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, reliable and hard-working team player.
• Ability to prioritize, coordinate and track a variety of tasks happening at once.
• Familiar with spreadsheets (Office 365) as it relates to tracking and reporting.
• Comfort with change and ability to pivot to new tasks, goals and opportunities.
• Passion for sports entertainment and experience with digital and on-demand streaming services.
• Proficient in programming/CMS software & tools, Microsoft Office, Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, Airtable.

For New York-based employment: The minimum salary for this position is $84,000/year. The maximum salary for this position $110,000/year. In addition to base salary, the compensation package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, as well as equity and a range of medical, dental, vision and other benefits.

For Washington-based employment: 

The base salary range for this position is $84,000 to $110,000.

Compensation may vary inside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the employee’s total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, commissions, profit-sharing, or other stock compensation.
