Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineering Manager who will lead QA and oversee all aspects of quality assurance within our engineering and product departments. Reporting directly to the Director of Solutions Architecture and Engineering, this role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, performance, and overall quality of Pryon's cutting-edge AI-driven products and services. We're looking for a true builder, someone who can assess the current state and utilize existing resources to stand the QA function up, while also considering what's needed for our longer-term target state.

In This Role, You Will

  • Develop and implement QA strategies and processes to ensure high-quality product delivery, aligning with Pryon's standards and customer expectations
  • Build, lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and cross-functional teams to integrate QA processes throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Design, execute, and oversee a comprehensive suite of test plans, cases, and automation frameworks to ensure product quality
  • Monitor and report on QA metrics, using data to drive decisions and improve processes and product quality continuously
  • Act as a key stakeholder in product and feature releases, ensuring quality standards are met before launch

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, including 3+ years in a leadership role managing QA teams
  • Proven track record of implementing and scaling QA processes and automation in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, QA methodologies, tools, and practices
  • Working experience with tools like Jira, Chrome Developer tools etc. to report and troubleshoot errors
  • Strong technical acumen, with experience in automated testing tools, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) systems, and agile software development practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, capable of motivating and guiding teams across different geographic locations
  • Experience in Search, NLP, NLU, and Generative AI is a plus

$150,000 - $175,000 a year

Actual cash compensation may vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, location and experience. The salay range listed is just one component of Pryon's compensation package.
