Job Description

What you will do

  • Develop and optimize large language models (LLMs) for various applications. · Work with advanced open source LLM frameworks, including Lemur, LLAMA, Jan, GPT-4, WizardLM, Gemini, and Mixtral.
  • Implement and refine NLP algorithms to improve model performance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate LLM solutions into production systems.
  • Work at the intersection of vector databases and Large Language Models.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in LLMs and NLP.
  • Analyze and enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of current models and systems.
  • Design and perform experiments to validate the effectiveness of proposed solutions.
  • Document and present technical solutions and methodologies to stakeholders.

What you need to have

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computational Social Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with large language models, particularly Lemur, LLAMA, Jan, GPT-4, WizardLM, Gemini, and Mixtral.
  • Strong proficiency in general NLP methods and algorithms with a focus on Transformer Attention based approaches.
  • Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks and tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with relevant libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Langchain, Vector Databases like Chroma or Milvus, Transformers, Huggingface).
  • Rigorous understanding of foundational statistical principles relevant to AI and machine learning.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing NLP applications (discerning model and use case fit).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

What we'd like you to have

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for deploying AI models.
  • Experience with data annotation and finetuning of LLMs for domain specific tasking.
  • Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, and continuous integration.
  • Projects focused on metrics driven development for deep learning models and/or projects focused on multi agent modeling.
  • Publications or contributions to conferences/journals in the field of AI/ML and NLP.
