Job Description

The role is built to lead the DSA team in Hyderabad. The team is looking for key resources that can technically lead a team of AI/ML engineers, statistician and first-principle modeling engineers. The candidate will perform administrative leadership to manage daily operations to enable the team to perform at their optimal capacity and productivity. The candidate also need to coach/mentor the team to upskill their technical proficiency to deliver their AOP objectives. The role requires the candidate to be proficient in advanced AI/ML modeling, advanced statistics and first-principle (physics) modeling. Preferably with Computer Science, Software Engineer and/or engineering background. The candidate should have extensive experience in building and developing a technical team in commercial/business environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of DSA objectives against AOP priorities
• Manage DSA team in Hyderabad from admistrative and technical aspects
• Support on ML/Data Ops that are part of Advanced Analytics (AI/ML) tools, include/but not limited to Azure DevOps Pipeline deployment, debugging application/issues
• Support senior simulation engineers on assigned simulation tasks including CAD creation, CAD cleaning, meshing, pre-processing, post processing, creating visuals of data

Qualifications

• Advanced Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related science/engineer field with 10+ years experience within the CPG industry and 5+ years of managing technical team.
• Strong background in machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis and big data technologies. (notes: big data technology will be helpful for PLM related projects)
• Good soft skills in translating business requirements, especially in translating fuzzy business needs, into heuristics when designing a solution.
• Solid analytical and critical thinking skills
• Strong mathematics and statistics background
• Familiarity with Agile development methodology and tools
• Ability to develop and maintain documentation of business processes /system enhancements
• Very Good Logical reasoning and algorithm / problem solving capabilities
• Responsible for managing multiple priorities; being able to manage deadlines and deliverables
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
