Job Description

As an Sr. AI Applications Engineer you will be in a crucial role in building, developing, implementing, and optimizing AI solutions to address complex business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and experience with OpenAI technology, with a preference for familiarity with Azure OpenAI services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design effective AI solutions that impact key business outcomes.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models using OpenAI technologies, with a focus on natural language processing and reinforcement learning.
  • Utilize expertise in vectorization and embeddings for efficient data representation and retrieval in machine learning models.
  • Deploy and manage models within cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and drive the adoption of innovative technologies within the organization.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing AI models for improved efficiency and accuracy.
  • Work with data scientists and software engineers to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and applications.

Qualifications

All candidates must meet the qualifications below:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Professional experience with OpenAI technologies, focusing on natural language processing, reinforcement learning, and expertise in vectorization and embeddings.
  • Familiarity with Azure OpenAI services and a strong understanding of cloud platforms.
  • 2+ years of professional experience with programming languages such as Python and experience with frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and model deployment best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience deploying and managing AI models in a cloud environment, especially on Azure.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
