Job Description

As a Machine Learning Engineer on our Ads Targeting core team, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing ML systems that automate targeting and deliver the most relevant audiences to advertisers. You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from building large-scale offline and online retrieval systems to improving contextual and behavioral targeting.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ML-based targeting products that drive advertiser outcomes
• Conduct offline and online experimentation to improve targeting products
• Research, implement, and launch new model architectures using deep learning techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and communication
• Implement, and maintain reliable, high-performance distributed systems

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience with applied machine learning models
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, SQL) and statistical analysis
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
• Passion for empowering communities and advertisers through innovative ML solutions

Nice to Have:

• Experience with large-scale data processing and pipeline orchestration tools
• Knowledge of nearest-neighbor search systems, large-scale search and recommender systems, or modern ads ranking/retrieval/targeting systems
• Experience with deep learning, representation learning, or transfer learning
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and ML experimentation workflows
