Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data related systems for all oversea Tencent games .
- In charge of data management and data services for all oversea Tencent games, including ETL, analysis and data mining.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in computer science or equivalent technical fields;
- 2+ years of work experience with big data architecture development on cloud services, experience in mining structured and unstructured data (SQL, ETL, data warehouse, Machine Learning, business intelligence etc.) in a business environment with large-scale, complex data sets
- Expert in SQL land at least one programming language such as Java, Python and Scala
- Deep understanding of MapReduce and big data ecosystem, experience with the Hadoop ecosystem (Spark, Oozie, Impala, HBase, HDVS, Flink etc.), big data ecosystems (Kafka, Cassandra, etc.) and track record of applying these techniques/tools on the job.
- Experience in big data storage, computation and data mining using cloud services (AWS, Azure, Tencent Cloud)
- Dynamic team player with ability to manage numerous requests concurrently and strategically, prioritizing when necessary.
- Good communication (verbal and written) skills in English and interpersonal skills; Ability to communicate with worldwide clients about data products and technical requests
