Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with large and complex transaction datasets, solve difficult, non-routine analysis problems. Conduct analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations.
- Define and develop metrics that assess and drive the success of Tencent global products. Build and prototype analysis pipeline iteractively to provide product insights. Create deep understanding of various products, advocating for changes where needed for product development.
- Research and develop models to extract user transaction features. Provide data supports for recommendation systems.
Qualifications
- Three years+ experience of data analysis/data warehouse development. Knowledge of machine learning such as supervised and unsupervised learning methods.
- BS in a quantitative discipline (e.g.: Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research), master’s degree is a plus.
- Expertise in SQL. Experience with Spark/hive/PYTHON.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, ability to tailor technical information for different audiences. Excellent teamwork skills, ability to self-start, share insights, ask questions, and report progress.
- Preferred?Hands-on experience in global internet products and business.
