Intuition Machines uses AI/ML to build enterprise security products. We apply our research to systems that serve hundreds of millions of people, with a team distributed around the world. You are probably familiar with our best-known product, the hCaptcha security suite. Our approach is simple: low overhead, small teams, and rapid iteration.

We're looking for a technically strong engineering manager to lead a security-focused team of ML Researchers. The ideal candidate will help build and execute the research roadmap, lead the applied research tasks, and be responsible for the team’s growth and happiness.

What you will do here:

• Lead the ML Security Applied Research team (4+ ML researchers), focusing on building ML solutions that support our security-related products, including hCaptcha.
• Oversee the execution and delivery of research projects, working closely with the tech lead, product manager, project manager, and engineering counterparts.
• Participate in architectural, design, and technical decisions, ensuring correctness. Be hands-on and understand the overall codebase well enough to perform code reviews and PRs.
• Mentor team members and ensure their happiness, challenge, and growth. Always approach these tasks with kindness.

What we are looking for:

• Strong ML/Data Science background with extensive experience in exploring data, designing features, training and validating models, and deploying and monitoring these models in production.
• Motivated to achieve results and perform impactful work.
• At least 2 years of experience as an Engineering Manager, driving the execution and delivery of projects.
• Methodical, detail-oriented, and capable of taking ownership of large projects involving multiple teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills.
