Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for building out infrastructure for the large-scale storage, management, and exchange of data related to Intrinsic Flowstate. Your work begins early in the process of scoping projects with our customers and partners, and drives impact by demonstrating our technology and capabilities. With a strong focus on creating utility value for partners and customers, you will help determine data infrastructure requirements, write clear specifications, review designs, and contribute to our engineering teams to design and build successful solutions. You will contribute to a project with several German industry partners and to creating a data ecosystem for robotics.

How your work moves the mission forward

• Help design large-scale storage solutions that allow runtime efficient queries and flexible data analysis
• Improve existing systems by adapting scalable pipelines for distributed computing and data processing
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams in order to optimally support customer use cases

Skills you will need to be successful

• Four-year degree in Computer Science
• Experience collaborating on medium to large software projects for at least 4 years
• Experience in programming C++, Python, or Golang
• Demonstrable experience with relational database management systems (BigQuery, DB2, or ODB), cloud storage and computing (Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure), containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), and service-oriented architectures

Skills that will differentiate your candidacy

• Experience working with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
• Experience building with scalable data pipelines (Apache Beam)
• Experience working with Machine Learning frameworks (Tensorflow, JAX)
• Experience building or working with logging, monitoring tooling
• Practical experience debugging systems (network issues, performance problems)
• Fluency in German language (writing and speaking) desired
