Job Description

Responsibility of the role will include (but not limited to):

Being a trusted “thought partner”: Provide thought direction to leaders on critical technical decisions, best engineering practices, and testing strategies to ensure consistently high-quality products. Able to have transparent and honest conversations that accurately articulate any current situation but biases for a viable path forward.

Key Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience architecting, designing, and developing software products.
• 8+ years of experience in building, managing, and leading multiple highly skilled teams of engineers, including growing new engineering managers and leading leaders.
• Prior experience delivering customer-facing software for consumer electronic devices
• Proven ability to grow and guide an engineering organization through productive critique, evangelism, training, learning, and coaching.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience guiding strong results from organizations that span geographic boundaries.
• Strong in Computer Science fundamentals, software engineering principles, and development methodologies.

Education & Experience

CS degree or equivalent experience

Pay & Benefits

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $282,000 and $450,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
