The Aeroplan Currency Management team is responsible to manage the profitability of the Aeroplan rewards portfolio. The team is therefore constantly developing levers and program constructs allowing the optimization of the Aeroplan contribution to revenue and profitability of Air Canada, while delivering great value to our members

As a Data Analyst, Redemption Optimization, you need to be passionate about using data and your analytic skills to guide business decisions. You will learn to be an expert in the performance of reward products (flight, car, hotel, gift cards, merchandise, etc..) and the overall travel & loyalty industry. You will also have to identify and develop potential improvements to actual and future redemption products offered to members using different methods (e.g: data mining, forecasting and prescriptive/descriptive analysis). You will have the responsibility of translating these findings into high value, easy to understand stories that will be presented to department leaders in the pursuit of maximization of the profitability of the Aeroplan program.
