Job Description

As a valued colleague on our team, you will act as a team lead in the designing, producing, testing, or implementing software, technology, or processes, as well as lead processes for creating and maintaining IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.

The Corporate Functions Technology - Software Engineering - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Independently determine the needs of the customer while identifying and resolving conflicting or complementary needs across customer groups.
  • Applying advanced skill, knowledge and experience, design and develop software solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Use a process-driven approach to leading design solutions.
  • Implement new software technology and coordinate simultaneous implementation tasks across teams.
  • May maintain or oversee the maintenance of existing software.

Qualifications

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Required Skills:

  • ?6+ Years Experience.
  • Technical Expertise in Python, Java, and AWS Technologies
  • Experience and familiarity with Hadoop / Spark information architecture, Data Modeling, Machine Learning (ML)
  • Experience with Workiva SaaS Platform
  • ETL Experience and data process automation on large datasets
  • Experience with 3rd Party Disclosures
  • Excellent collaboration & communication skills
  • Experience in production support that has high visibility/SLA
  • Ability to collaborate and work with stakeholders across multiple groups
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other engineering teams and key business stakeholders
  • Experience as a technical lead on projects
  • Ability to lead in an Agile environment

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Experience with Amazon Redshift
  • Experience with ESG standards and disclosure knowledge i.e. SASB, MSCI, Sustainanalytics
  • Experience in data product development, collaborating with product owners and manage technical feature prioritization
  • Experience with implementing integration solutions with Microservices, RESTful Web Services and Web APIs
  • SAS statistical analysis and data visualization experience
  • Experience working in Finance, Mortgage, or Banking verticals

Skills

  • Adept at managing project plans, resources, and people to ensure successful project completion
  • Skills related to Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.
  • Skilled in cloud technologies and cloud computing
  • Expertise in service management concepts for networks and related standards such as ITIL practices or SDLC
  • Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages
