The Data Platform team at Swiggy enables human and machine intelligence by building platforms and systems to process hundreds of terabytes of data. We are building a next generation platform that enables insights for Swiggy in the most optimal manner. This is an exciting time to join us as we revamp the platform capabilities and innovate at each platform layer to build systems that are scalable, reliable, observable and self-serve by design with strong data governance and security incorporated at each level to enable accelerated insights

At Swiggy, SDE IV(s) play an integral role in owning end-to-end Design/Architecture of complex systems. They co-own the technology vision of the respective team and significantly contribute to the overall success of the team. They partner with the product/business teams to understand the product features and specifications, translate them into high level and low-level design thereby facilitating the team in design and development of mission critical applications.

 What qualities are we looking for?

• Excellent leadership skills to mentor the engineers

• Deep understanding of big data or data warehouse technologies and architecture in a highly scalable and available set-up like- Big Data/MLOps/Cloud Data warehouse/Data Lake/Spark/Streaming ecosystem.
• Deep understanding & expertise with data pipelines, ingestion, storage, data wrangling, and data governance.
• Strong knowledge of Spark/Hive/Presto or ML lifecycle with MLOps.
• 9 to 12 years of experience with technical depth and best design principles.
• BE/BTech in Computer Science or some equivalent academic stance.
