Job Description

As a Senior Software Engineer - Applications, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our AI-driven enterprise applications. You will be responsible for backend development primarily in Python and will work closely with front-end technologies to ensure seamless interaction between the two. Your expertise in coding and architecture will be instrumental in delivering high-quality features that meet the needs of our customers. You will collaborate closely with design and product partners, diving into the minds of users, and take ownership of your work. Additionally, your experience in supporting production systems and debugging challenges in distributed systems will be valuable in ensuring the reliability and stability of our applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design and product teams to understand user requirements and craft features that enhance the user experience.
• Participate in the building, delivery, and maintenance of enterprise products, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.
• Continuously improve and iterate on features to deliver value to customers.
• Take ownership of your work, from design to implementation and maintenance, and drive projects to successful completion.
• Focus primarily on backend development using Python, while having a working knowledge of front-end technologies to enable seamless integration.
• Support production systems, handling debugging challenges in distributed systems to ensure reliability and uptime.
• Embrace a growth mindset, picking up new languages and technologies as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a track record of delivering enterprise products (SMB SaaS, Consumer okay).
• Exceptional coding skills and a burgeoning architect with a passion for creating high-quality software.
• Experience with iterative development processes, thriving in dynamic and agile environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, comfortable working alongside design and product partners.
• Proficient in backend development using Python, with a working knowledge of front-end technologies (JS, React).
• Comfortable supporting production systems and debugging challenges in distributed systems.
• Growth mindset with the ability to pick up new languages and technologies as required.
