What we need:

Brady Worldwide Inc. is seeking a Global Marketing Data Science Lead to work in our Milwaukee, WI office. The Global Marketing Data Science Lead will be responsible for leveraging advanced analytics and data science techniques to drive data-driven decision-making, optimize marketing strategies, and maximize business growth on a global scale. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to extract insights from large volumes of marketing data, develop predictive models, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance marketing effectiveness and efficiency.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large and complex datasets from various marketing channels and sources.
  • Apply statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques to identify patterns, trends, and correlations in marketing data.
  • Develop predictive models to forecast customer behavior, segment customers, and optimize marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct A/B testing and experiment analysis to evaluate marketing strategies and initiatives.
  • Translate data findings into actionable insights and present them to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with global marketing teams, including digital marketing, product management, and customer analytics, to align data science initiatives with overall marketing goals.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, goals, and challenges, and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of data science frameworks, best practices, and standards within the marketing organization.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in data science, machine learning, and marketing analytics.
  • Continuously explore new data sources and experiment with innovative approaches to improve marketing strategies.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 5 years of experience in a data science or analytics field in a marketing or digital marketing context.
  • We will also accept individuals with a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 3 years of experience in a data science or analytics field in a marketing or digital marketing context. As part of the required five years of experience (Bachelor’s), or three years experience (Master’s) the individual must have:
  • 3 years of experience with statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques.
  • 3 years of Data Science experience working in applied machine learning.
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in python, and SQL.
  • 2 years of experience with data visualization / BI tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
  • 3 years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models and solutions, analytical problem-solving, pattern recognition, and predictive modeling
  • 2 years of experience with data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
  • 2 years of experience evaluating model output and identifying model improvement opportunities.
