Job Description

Here at ShyftLabs, we are searching for an experienced Data Scientist who can derive performance improvement and cost efficiency in our product through a deep understanding of the ML and infra system, and provide a data driven insight and scientific solution.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques to develop personalized recommendation systems tailored to individual customer preferences and behavior.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Development, and Data Engineering, to integrate personalization algorithms into our digital platforms and retail channels.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for enhancing the customer journey and driving business growth.
• Design and conduct experiments to test the effectiveness of personalized content and recommendations, iterating based on insights and feedback.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the impact of personalization efforts on customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in personalization and data science, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization through clear and compelling presentations and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related roles, with a focus on personalization and recommendation systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods, with the ability to translate complex concepts into actionable insights.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) preferred.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
