Job Description

This is a hybrid role based in our Bangalore office that requires 2 days a week to be in the office.

What you'll be doing

• Lead a group of data and BI engineers to design and build scalable data pipeline and automation solutions, metrics and dashboards using cloud native tools across Google ecosystem such as Dataform, BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub
• Build and maintain pipelines to ingest data from diverse systems and sources, such as SAAS solutions, APIs, files, and databases
• Translate product and business needs to build data models for accurate and consistent data analysis and reporting
• Implement data validation and monitoring processes to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle
• Provide technical leadership to a team of data and BI engineers by vetting their designs, and mentoring them to realize their full potential

What we're looking for

• A seasoned data expert with a proven track record in data pipeline development, with over 6 years of hands-on experience encompassing the entire data lifecycle, from data ingestion to automation to comprehensive analysis and insightful visualization.
• Experience managing deliverables for junior engineers and a leader who is very comfortable moving between being a player and a coach
• A cloud professional with expertise across diverse cloud data services/solutions, adept at harnessing technologies and data processing tools to orchestrate data workflows with utmost efficiency
• SQL expert proficient in languages like Python (preferred), Java, or other programming languages, showcasing a multifaceted skill set tailored for complex data engineering tasks
• A self-starter who can roll up their sleeves and operate in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and dynamic startup environment with phenomenal attention to detail to drive work to completion in a timely fashion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and expertise in gathering requirements, prioritization, and leading technical projects

You might also have

• Background in SaaS software, gaming, internet, or high growth technology industry
• Familiarity with cloud computing, financial systems/processes, marketing, web/product analytics
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
