Job Description

As a Data Wrangler for John Deere Harvester Works located in East Moline, IL, you will enable the Engineering Organization to quickly make informed business decisions by developing and/or automating reports, dashboards, metrics and alerts. You will also support, evaluate, and continually improve digital tools to maintain alignment with strategic goals of the business, while functioning withing an agile framework.

What Skills You Need

• Ability to understand, develop, and enhance technical documentation
• 1 or more years of data analytics experience
• Experience in one or more computer programming languages
• Proven working experience using SQL
• Ability to communicate effectively and have excellent interpersonal skills

What Makes You Stand Out

• Proven working experience with using Microsoft Power Platform
• Experience in the following languages:
• JAVA
• R scripting
• Python
• One or more years of experience utilizing complex queries to wrangle and analyze datasets using programs such as:
• SAS
• SQL Server
• Hana
• DB2
• SAP
• Experience with Ignition
• Knowledge of manufacturing execution systems
• Experience working within the Agile framework
• One or more years of experience building databases and data pipelines
• 2 or more years of experience in manufacturing or quality engineering processes

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent work experience in a related career field.
