About the Role

As a lead Data Engineer joining our team, you will be responsible to

  • Design and Develop Test Data creation strategy and RPA solutions supporting our test data requirements.
  • Design, Develop and Support Data Masking strategy across systems and platforms (SFDC, SAP, etc)
  • Improve Commercial Engineering test environment refresh process to optimize systems uptime
  • Innovate with new approaches to meeting data management and test data requirements for Commercial Engineering Platforms.
  • Partner across the company with analytics teams, engineering managers, architecture teams and data scientists to design and agree on solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Effectively communicate and liaise with other data management teams embedded across the organization and data consumers in data science and business analytic groups

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Sr. Data Engineer if your background includes:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering or related field of study, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ yrs experience in database/data warehousing/ETL/BI software stack development.
  • Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
  • Understanding the basics of distributed systems Python, Java, programming languages.
  • Scala nice to have.
  • Data APIs ETL tools Database systems (SQL & NoSQL)
  • Data warehousing solutions (AWS, Azure)Desired:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience working with AWS ecosystem
  • Hands-on experience with modern data warehouses like Snowflake, Redshift, Google BigQuery
  • Hands-on experience working with AWS ecosystem
