Role

You will build Harvey’s UI features end-to-end. From wireframe to production. Frontend engineers at Harvey are passionate about the pixels they render, and hold themselves to the highest standards. The ideal candidate strives for everything they output to be polished. The UI you ship. The code you merge. The slack messages you write.

• Develop features with beautiful and scalable UI components

• Typescript + React + Tailwind (with ShadCN as foundation)

• Setup good patterns to enable full-stack engineers to be effective in the frontend codebase

• Redefine best-in-class software and build an opinionated product

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability building world-class software products.

• Deep expertise in Typescript, React ecosystem and PWA’s

• Ability to design and build products that suite all demographics

• Track record of shipping high-quality products and developing projects at scale

• Examples: complex enterprise products with slick UX (Brex, Ramp, Stripe), beautiful consumer software products (Figma, Notion, Linear)

• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft

• Experience with AI, large language models, or legal is not required

Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of frontend engineering experience

• Experience with UI/UX and design

• L5-L6: Senior or Staff

Bonus:

• Early engineer at a hyper-growth startup

• Experience at world class product organizations (e.g. Notion, Figma)

Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this role is between $150,000 and $260,000. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in our equity plan. The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
